Josefa Koch Obituary

Josefa Koch went to be with the lord on April 14, 2024, at the age of 96 years.

Remembered and sadly missed by her children; Anne Joinson (Dennis) of Creston, BC, Harry Koch (Bea) of Summerland, BC, and Frank Koch (Debbie) of Penticton, BC; 6 grandchildren, Rhonda Joinson, Robert Joinson, Raelene Joinson, Barry Koch, Dennis Koch, and Christy Koch; as well as great-grandchildren, Ben and Matt, Rebecca and Christy, Dennis and Matthew, along with many more great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Sadly predeceased by her husband, Frank Koch in 2002 and her son Frank Alois Koch in 2023.

Josefa (Josie) loved to build huge gardens, cook awesome meals, and world travels with friends and family was her passion. Mom will be warmly remembered and missed by all who knew her.

A private family service will be held at Providence Funeral Homes in Summerland. Memorial tributes may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
